Tuesday, August 8: I was honored to be invited to the Sarah Stevenson Tuesday Forum as a mayoral candidate to talk about the problems Charlotte and its people are facing and how my approach would provide solutions. Vi Lyles and I really dig into the issues and made our cases for our differing approaches. I have some further thoughts on this in my blog.
AUGUST CIVITAS POLL DINNER
Wednesday, August 24: John Locke Foundation CEO Donald Bryson and Pete Kaliner, Host of The Pete Kaliner Show, discussed the results of John Locke's August Civitas poll, the only poll of its kind focused on what issues matter to the people of North Carolina. GREATER CHARLOTTE APARTMENT ASSOCIATION CANDIDATE FORUM
September 6 meet-and-greet evening with candidates seeking elected office for Charlotte City Council and Mecklenburg County towns. Hosted at the Reed Apartments, the reception-style event offered members an opportunity to hear from and talk with candidates about multi-family housing industry issues.
